It all started almost 10 years ago...

Absolutely.  You do you boo. As long as you complete all four workouts weekly (live or replays), you'll see the results.

For those who need more structure, follow one of my guided fitness programs or complete my 4 Day Fitness Formula classes that are added new every month.

I'm all about giving you a variety of styles as well as fusion style workouts to keep you progressing and never bored.  Inside EASE you'll get HIIT style training (high intensity interval training) with low impact options to blast fat and increase your muscular/cardio endurance, restorative work like yoga, barre, Pilates to focus on mobility, flexibility and core as well as bands & traditional strength training to build healthy lean muscle mass. The more we are exposed to a variety of fitness modalities, the less likely we will injure ourselves when doing everyday life. It's about creating a lifestyle that lasts but also a strong body that lasts too.

You'll need a set of heavy and light dumbbells plus a pack of loop resistance bands to complete these EASE workouts and most require no equipment at all.

What size weights and type of bands do you recommend?

Honestly the weight is up to you.  Most start with 5lbs and 10-15lbs for their heavier but then I have students that are using those 10lbs as their lighter weights and challenging themselves with 20-30lbs for their heavier weights.  A good variety is best but even using household items like soup cans for your lighter weights and laundry detergent bottles for your heavier will do.

Bands can be found really anywhere.  I recommend this $10 pack on Amazon that offers difference resistance.

As a former collegiate track athlete, health & PE educator, mom of two and certified personal trainer since 2005, Heather Barritt, started her online fitness business in 2012 to combine her two passions: movement and teaching.  She wanted a platform to share her smarter not harder approach to fitness and spread her anti-dieting message to the masses.
